As an entrepreneurial businessman for over twenty years, Norm Letnick knows what it means to serve customers, to make payroll on time and to worry about laying off staff. As a public official, he knows how to ask tough questions, work with and lead teams, hire and fire CEOs, and get the job done on time and on budget. And as an academic, he has been rewarded with the incredible satisfaction which comes from preparing young people for the challenges and opportunities which lie ahead, including coaching some outstanding Okanagan College business simulation teams.
Now, Norm knows that it’s time to focus his energy and enthusiasm on full-time elected office, representing the citizens of Kelowna-Lake Country on matters that affect our pocketbooks and define our quality of life. There is little room for error in Victoria as we adjust to the changing financial and environmental landscape.
